On Tuesday, October 25, Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) members gathered online for a webinar titled, “Motor Carrier Contract Considerations.” This event, hosted by Scopelitis Partners Nathaniel Saylor and Craig Helmreich, focused on important considerations when it comes to creating successful shipper-carrier contract agreements.
The pair focused on various terms, rates, and insurance policies and how to address cargo loss and damage. Additionally, Helmreich touched upon recent legislation such as the Sanitary Food Transportation Act, which could spark several contract-related issues.
