GCCA Webinar Explores Opportunities for Regulatory Reform

The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) held a webinar on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 to inform its members on efforts to review and reform regulations and the potential impacts on the temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics industry. GCCA Vice President of Government & Legal Affairs Lowell Randel led the discussion on legislative efforts to reform the regulatory process and what this could look like over the next four years. Panel to Investigate West Coast Port Strike Fallout: Upcoming Webinar

The U.S. West Coast Port Strike has caused delays and significant challenges for shippers, carriers, and receivers. The Global Cold Chain Alliance is hosting a new webinar focused on the fallout from this strike. A panel of industry leaders will lead a discussion on the decisions their companies and clients made as a result of the strike delays. The panel members will also share experiences for how their companies’ strategies changed when coping with the delays and shutdowns. Representatives from Lineage Logistics, Americold, and HIS Maritime & Trade will participate on the panel.
