In February 2018, GCCF was awarded a contract to conduct a market study for temperature-controlled logistics in the East African country of Kenya. Completed with partnership with GCCA member, LixCap, this market study determined the existing and future demand for cold chain across horticulture, supermarkets, dairy, meats, quick service restaurants, seafoods, pharmaceuticals and others. Examining key constraints and growth drivers, the team recommended strategies for establishing services for temperature-controlled logistics in Kenya.
