• Five years ammonia refrigeration
• PSM, RMP experience
• Current refrigeration certification
• Work independently, proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems, warehouse equipment, doors, ramps and related facility electrical and plumbing components.

Position Available: General Manager

Mid-sized Frozen Food Storage and Distribution Company with extensive California, USA operations is currently seeking a qualified General Manager to oversee our Watsonville, California, USA business unit. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is responsible for directing all sales, operational, and financial activities to ensure stated operating goals and budgets are achieved. The desired candidate will possess strong verbal and written skills, proven leadership qualities, and have more than 10 years of management experience in the warehousing and/or logistics industry.
Major Responsibilities:
• Direct sales, marketing and business development activities
• Administer company policies, programs, and procedures
• Direct, supervise, train, and develop staff to achieve operating and safety goals
• Monitor security, safety standards, and quality control to ensure they meet company and regulatory requirements
• Ensure Company assets are properly maintained and safeguarded
• Work closely with customers, vendors, contractors and others providing goods and services to the company
• Monitor and comply with plant operating and capital budgets
• Monitor compliance with business and accounting policies
• Other duties assisting Vice President of Operations
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in business or technical discipline desired
• 10 years experience in a similar position desired
• Warehouse management software experience preferred
• Spanish speaking is also preferred
