Below is a list of just some of the projects completed in the region over the last five years through the research and education am of GCCA, The World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO).

China/Vietnam: Improving Food Safety, Handling Practices

WFLO promoted the import of U.S. agricultural products by strengthening the awareness of U.S. food safety systems and distribution logistics. Activities conducted during the program included a review of the existing activities in the region pertaining to cold chain enhancement and association building efforts and the development of a local-language resource directory for industry organizations.

Philippines: Essential Pathway for U.S. Imports

In cooperation with USDA, WFLO promoted the import of U.S. agricultural products through training and development activities that increased awareness of U.S. food safety systems and distribution logistics. As a result of this engagement, WFLO played an integral role in the development of the first national cold chain-related association in country, the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines (CCAP).
