Lineage Logistics, LLC (Lineage), a temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics company backed by Bay Grove Capital, LLC (Bay Grove), announced today it has broken ground on the expansion of its Tacoma, Washington cold storage distribution facility. The expansion project will add over 20,000 pallet positions of frozen warehouse capacity and bring Lineage’s total capacity in the Pacific Northwest to over 93 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled warehousing space. Gregory “Greg” Lehmkuhl will become its new Chief Executive Officer, effective mid-July. Current CEO Bill Hendricksen will transition into the role of Vice Chairman at that time. On April 1, 2015, Charter 2904 Oak Lawn, LP, announced the sale of the operating entity for the property located at 1101 NE 23rd Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76164. Premier Refrigerated Warehouse, LLC had leased and operated the refrigerated warehouse located at the Fort Worth address since September 2011.
The new operating company, FWPRW, LLC DBA PREMIER REFRIGERATED WAREHOUSE, is owned by Ron Buford, former President of Premier Refrigerated Warehouse, LLC, who will serve as President & CEO of the new company. According to Buford, the company signed a new three-year lease on the warehouse with an option to purchase the property. “This gives our team direction for the next three years as we continue to grow,” Buford said.
