Americold Breaks Ground on Clearfield, Utah Expansion

Americold (www.americold.com), the global leader in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry, has officially broken ground in Clearfield, Utah to expand its site located at 755 E 1700 S.  This project will add 6.5 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled warehouse space to Americold’s current 11.2 million cubic foot facility on the site.  Together with its Salt Lake City facility, this expansion significantly extends Americold’s market leadership within the Greater Salt Lake City Metro Area to more than 50 percent of total available capacity, triple that of its nearest local competitor. Lineage Logistics Expands Two and Acquires Two Facilities to Grow National Network

Lineage Logistics, LLC (“Lineage”), a temperature controlled warehousing and logistics company backed by Bay Grove, announced today plans to expand two existing facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as well as the completed acquisitions of two buildings, one in Phoenix, AZ and one in Bethlehem, PA. The expansions, in tandem with the acquired buildings, add 21 million cubic feet of refrigerated warehousing space to Lineage’s ever-growing nationwide facility network and represent a transformative next step in the Company’s warehouse automation strategy.

Lineage expects to break ground at its cold storage distribution center in Fort Worth in the coming months, with plans to open the expansion in October. The facility, located at 5200 Gold Spike Drive, will increase its total capacity to 23.9 million cubic feet with over 54,000 pallet positions to house frozen and refrigerated product.

The expansion of Lineage’s Sunnyvale facility, located at 367 Long Creek Road, is planned to be a rack-supported, fully automated building featuring a 75-foot plus clear height and the latest in automated technology. The automated addition will be designed to provide over 7 million cubic feet of frozen and refrigerated space, with more than 19,000 pallet positions to support fast-moving distribution product. The expansion’s seamless integration with the existing conventional warehouse will provide customers with ultimate flexibility in supply chain solutions.

The Dallas-Fort Worth expansion projects are announced on the heels of Lineage’s acquisition of two cold storage distribution centers in other key markets in the United States, including a 200,000 square-foot building in fast-growing Phoenix, AZ as well as a 265,000 square-foot cold storage facility in Bethlehem, PA near Lineage’s Allentown distribution center.

Lineage Logistics Breaks Ground on Tacoma Expansion

Lineage Names W. Gregory Lehmkuhl as New CEO; Bill Hendricksen Transitions to Vice Chairman
