IRTA Elects 2011-2012 Officers

ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 6, 2011 – New officers and directors of the International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA) were recently elected by the IRTA membership.

John Williamson, Chairman of E.L Johnson’s Sons and Mowatt in Illford, Essex, United Kingdom, was elected 2011-2012 Chairman of IRTA. Chris Mnichowski (Cold Train Intermodal, Inc., Overland, Kansas, USA) was elected Vice Chairman and M. K. Wong (OOCL, San Ramon, California, USA) was elected Treasurer.

Newly elected directors of the IRTA Board of Directors elected include: Peter Hurme (Cargo Business News, Seattle, Washington, USA); Keith Mowery (United States Cold Storage, Voorhees, New Jersey, USA); Debbie McDowell (ICS Logistics, Jacksonville, Florida, USA); and Matt Zerfoss (Pictsweet Foods, Bells, Tennessee, USA).

The following directors were re-elected to serve an additional term: Greg Bryan (Americold Logistics LLC, Atlanta, Georgia, USA); Ron Buford (Ranger Refrigerated Express, Grand Prairie, Texas, USA); Thomas Keefer (Port of Wilmington, Wilmington, Delaware, USA); and Barbara J. Pratt (Maersk Line, Madison, New Jersey, USA).
