Certified Refrigeration Energy Specialist (CRES)

The Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association (RETA) is a GCCA Strategic Partner

The Certified Refrigeration Energy Specialist (CRES) certification is a new Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) certification for operators and managers of industrial refrigeration that demonstrates knowledge and capability of energy-efficient systems. Many CRES certificants have seen up to tens of thousands of dollars in operating cost savings while improving safety and production quality at their facility.

Watch a two-minute video about CRES to learn why operators and managers of industrial refrigeration facilities are enthusiastic about the energy-efficient upgrades made at their facility: http://vimeo.com/86331446

CRES certification requires successful completion of an exam and five low- and no-cost activities that demonstrate energy savings. To apply, submit an application to RETA. To succeed on the CRES exam, use the CRES Study Guide and Application Handbook to study and prepare for the exam, as well as this helpful video.
