By electronically sending warehouse receipts, your company could potentially save costs associated with printing and mailing hard copy receipts. In addition, electronic warehouse receipts conserve natural resources and allow companies to quickly and efficiently send receipts.
We do recommend that you have you ask customers to sign a letter which will authorize your company to stop sending tangible warehouse receipts and authorize your company to begin issuing electronic warehouse receipts. The letter is available for download in Microsoft Word. We recommend placing the letter on your company letterhead.
