As an Operational Supervisor at Commercial Warehousing, Inc., Nicholas spends his days interviewing, hiring and training new employees; planning, scheduling, and budgeting; performing inventory control and warehouse maintenance; and processing claims. Thus far, the WFLO Institute has helped him “see things from a difference perspective.” He hopes the Institute training will help him to become a better supervisor, and eventually, prove himself to be a great candidate for the role of Operations Manager.
What was your favorite class?
It’s hard to pick just one favorite session since every session makes up each moving part of the warehouse operations. If I had to choose just one, I would say Ken Osean’s Effective Communications class. He really showed me how important it is to focus on the listening part of communication.
What was one of your most memorable moments from your Institute past?
The most memorable moment was during the opening session of my first year the motivational speaker was an astronaut and was very good at keeping everyone on the edge of his or her seat. It was a very good start to my Institute training.
What would you like to say to aspiring students of the WFLO Institute?
