President Biden recently named Brendan Danaher as his top labor policy advisor, replacing Celste Drake who left to join the UN’s labor agency. Prior to the appointment, Danaher was a labor policy advisor for the Department of Transportation. Danaher Joins the Biden Administration at key time, with the recent Teamster/UPS settlement and the current negotiations between UAW and Ford, GM, Stellantis. Before joining the Biden administration, Danaher worked for unions including the AFL-CIO, Transport Workers Union and the American Federation of Government Employees.
