In an effort to better align with a changing industry and the expanding expertise of its members, the International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC) has transitioned to a new name - the Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA). Members of the 40-year-old Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) core partner unanimously voted to approve the new name during the annual CEBA Conference & Expo held November 7-9, 2018 in Las Vegas. The association new name is representative of the diversity of work being done by its members, which expands beyond cold storage warehouses to include food processing facilities, clean rooms, pharmaceutical facilities, and food service and retail distribution centers. This year, the CEBA Conference & Expo drew in around 200 professionals from around the world who participated in peer case studies, presentations by industry leaders, networking activities, and an expo with cutting-edge products and technology.
