Pursuant to the statutory “publication” requirement under CA Labor Code §2810.4 (known as the Lara Bill (SB 1402) which holds water port drayage shippers to be jointly and severally liable with motor carriers that have outstanding DLSE wage and hour judgements) a list of motor carriers that have outstanding California Department of Labor Standards Enforcement wage and hour liabilities has been published here.
The Firm has not vetted the DLSE list nor determined if the list complies with the terms of the statute, which requires that any outstanding liability be unsatisfied and no longer subject to appeal. The new law also provides for certain exclusions from joint liability that could be applicable to those who tender freight to water port drayage motor carriers on the DLSE list.
