The WFLO/GCCA and LixCap, a GCCA member, have identified market opportunities for investment in cold storage at key air and maritime trading hubs in Bangladesh. These investment opportunities will be presented by experts in the TCL sector during the workshop. The presentation and Q&A will focus on locations with the highest potential for the expansion of third-party cold chain logistics providers.
This event is part of the Bangladesh Trade Facilitation (BTF) project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is presented in collaboration with Venture37. BTF aims to expand trade in agricultural products by reducing the cost of trade in agricultural goods while decreasing the release time of imported agricultural goods; and to increase agricultural productivity by improving processes through increased transparency, streamlining, and automating methods. The project also aims to foster private and public investment, especially in cold storage.
Join this workshop to:
- Provide your feedback and validation to the results of the market study.
- Receive timely and critical market data regarding the growing demand for cold chain in Bangladesh.
- Understand the specific opportunities for cold storage investment and growth from regional and international cold chain experts.
