Working in the Summer Heat: OSHA Heat-Illness Prevention Campaign

Thousands of workers become sick, and even die, every year due to preventable heat-related illnesses. Construction site professionals are among those outdoor workers who are highly susceptible to heat-related illness, especially during the hot summer months. With July bringing temperatures in the higher digits to the United States, the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration has released a reminder of advice companies and individuals can take to prevent heat illness. More
