GCCA Joins Coalition Partners in Submitting Comments on Joint Employer Rule

The Coalition for a Democratic Workforce, of which GCCA is an active member, coordinated the submission of comments to the National Labor Relations Board on the recently proposed regulation regarding joint employer policies.  The comments were supported by over 60 leading industry organizations and highlighted significant concerns with the proposed rule.  The proposed rule will undermine collective bargaining and destabilize labor relations, is arbitrary and capricious, and diverges from the common law. The coalition comments argue that the proposal ignores federal law, Congressional intent, and court precedent and, in doing so, threatens existing economic relationships and future opportunities for millions of entrepreneurs.
