GCCA Efforts Help Secure Priority Access to Hand Sanitizer for Cold Chain Industry

Our efforts, combined with the Food and Beverage Industry Coalition, which GCCA participates in, have resulted in the recent advisory by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, asking that the food industry be given preference, after the healthcare industry, for access to hand sanitizer to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. This is a necessary item for helping to maintain the safety of the workers, designated “essential employees,” in the cold chain. Read the CISA memo here.
