On Tuesday, December 1, GCCA joined over 30 associations requesting federal legislation to address liability. In the letter to Congressional leadership, the coalition calls for future COVID-19 relief legislation to protect all businesses from unfounded lawsuits if they make efforts to protect their employees and guests from the virus. GCCA and other associations have endorsed the SAFE TO WORK Act (S.4317) sponsored by Senators Cornyn and McConnell. In the House, the coalition has endorsed the Get America Back to Work Act (H.R.7528) sponsored by Representatives Graves and Cuellar.
