US Department of Labor Offering Webinars on Child Labor Regulations

The Department of Labor has recently announced that it will hold two webinars regarding child labor regulations.  The webinars will explain in detail the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act in regard to child labor laws (children under the age of 18).  These webinars come nearly two months after the Biden Administration announced a crackdown on illegal migrant child labor that was uncovered from a New York Times investigation.  Since then, the Administration has pressured the Department of Labor to be clearer on the rules surrounding child labor, and these webinars are the latest in that effort.  The Department of Labor has also issued a press release reaffirming its commitment to preventing child labor law violations.
