GCCA Virtual Innovation Program to Offer Essential Content & B2B Networking
Share:
In light of the evolving situation surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), GCCA leadership has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 face-to-face IARW-WFLO Convention and the 2020 GCCA Cold Chain Conference & Expo. But all is not lost.
We are excited to announce two new opportunities that GCCA is launching to provide you and your team with these opportunities to learn, connect, and engage with our community of cold chain professionals and supporters:
Cold Chain Essentials – Virtual Learning Series
The Cold Chain Essentials Virtual Learning Series is a new, affordable virtual learning series aimed at delivering essential content for individuals of all levels within all segments of the global GCCA membership. Education activities will be divided into tracks based on topic areas, including:
Essentials for the Cold Chain C-Suite
Facility Operations
Engineering and Construction
Supply Chain and Transportation
Customer Engagement
Cold Chain Innovation
Look for sessions within the tracks on automation, human resources, innovation and sustainability.
Education sessions for each track will take place over a 7-week period between September 28 and November 13. Registration will be inclusive of all sessions and tracks, allowing attendees to participate in any session that is of interest.
New content exclusively for associate members and vendor partners will also be available and will provide insight into our member companies and industry trends. We will also provide virtual networking and engagement opportunities to provide connection points for attendees throughout the series.
To provide quality connectivity and business conversations that would have occurred at both the IARW-WFLO Convention and GCCA Cold Chain Conference & Expo, we are providing a virtual business meeting platform to allow GCCA members from across the world to engage in pre-scheduled meetings with qualified participants. The virtual platform allows us to expand our reach and provide new opportunities for cold chain leaders, vendors, and solution providers to engage in exchanges that help strengthen existing and create new trading partner relationships. Participant segmentation and cost models are currently being finalized. GCCA will reach out to you shortly to confirm your participation and support in this exciting new opportunity.
