CEVA Logistics received a majority stake in Dubai-based AMI Worldwide, expanding its’ operations in Africa. On July 1, CEVA’s almost 1,000 employees and over 1,000 AMI Worldwide employees in 12 countries expanding across East and Southern Africa, will unite as CEVA. In addition, CMA CGM, the parent company of CEVA, will join its three service facilities that are in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Ivory Coast to the African network. They will offer freight and forwarding services.
Mathieu Friedberg, executive officer at CEVA Logistics states that in order to act on immense growth opportunities for businesses across the African continent, logistical solutions are important to ensure the “supply chains work well and trade flows run smoothly.”
