The Global Cold Chain Alliance has joined a coalition of over 200 organizations representing the food and agriculture value chain to welcome President-elect Trump’s administration. In a letter to the transition team co-chairs, the coalition expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with the new administration to ensure America maintains its reputation for having the safest, most affordable, and abundant food, feed, and fiber supplies.

The letter emphasizes the importance of science- and risk-based decision-making in shaping food and nutrition policies. This will help deliver measurable benefits to consumers, empower informed purchasing decisions, and avoid unnecessary confusion. The letter underscored a commitment to supporting policies and appointees that prioritize factual and efficient methods to safeguard public health while promoting economic growth in the agricultural sector.

GCCA is dedicated to working alongside the new administration and advocating for policies that strengthen the global food supply chain.
