EVENT CODE OF CONDUCT
The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), Global Cold Chain Foundation (GCCF), and Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA) are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, respectful, and productive environment for all participants and association staff. We expect all participants, including attendees, speakers, organizers, exhibitors, sponsors, and staff to abide by this code of conduct.
Event attendees are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy, and respect for others, and maintain the highest level of professionalism at all event activities, including sponsored functions and meetings, where staff may or may not be present, that are connected to GCCA, GCCF, and CEBA events.
GCCA, GCCF, and CEBA are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate, and actions such as deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing, photography or recording, sustain disruption, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention will not be tolerated. Any insults or personal attacks, derogatory language, harassment in any form (including exclusionary jokes), or disruptive behavior will be investigated and appropriately addressed. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference at the sole discretion of the event organizers. Attendees are expected to comply with the instructions of the event organizers and venue staff to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
Additionally, GCCA, GCCF, and CEBA operate under an anti-trust policy, and by attending events, attendees agree to adherence to such policy. GCCA, GCCF, and CEBA request that presentations, postings, and messages not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitation tor services, unless specifically authorized. Materials may be edited or altered to adhere to this request prior to presentation by GCCA, GCCF, and CEBA, its staff, and event organizers.
If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, you may report the behavior to Sara Stickler, President & CEO, at sstickler@gcca.org.
