This week, the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) is pleased to feature the 2024 Warehouse Vice Chairman, Tim Ludwig, from Bradner Cold Storage. Tim has been an integral part of GCCA leadership since 2019 when he joined the Board as the Pacific Region representative.  He remained in service as a Board Member through the change from IARW to GCCA in 2023 and was elected as the Treasurer that same year.  Tim continues his dedication to the industry by now serving as the 2024 GCCA Warehouse Vice Chairman.

Having been involved in the food processing and transportation industry for over 25 years, Ludwig has emerged as a leading figure in the Canadian cold chain industry. His professional journey began during his university years, where he embarked on his career with part-time employment in a warehouse, setting the stage for his future endeavors. After many years of hard work and commitment, he became the President and CEO of Bradner Cold Storage, bringing a unique perspective and passion to the table, and always finding ways to tackle complex business challenges.

Within GCCA, Tim is working hand in hand with the GCCA advocacy team in the efforts to engage and build relationships with the Canadian government, hoping to reach common ground with lawmakers and improve the current regulatory framework. In conjunction with his board role at GCCA and bringing Bradner Cold Storage to new heights, Tim has also volunteered to participate as an industry representative on Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Consumer Demand and Market Trends Table which showcases his ongoing commitment to improve the laws that would allow the industry flourish exponentially.

GCCA could not be prouder to have such a passionate and knowledgeable entrepreneur working alongside us. We are looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together this year.
