GCCA joined a coalition of 480 business organizations in sending a letter to members of the U.S. Congress expressing their support of the “SAFE TO WORK Act”. This piece of legislation would provide timely, targeted, and temporary liability relief provisions. The crucial protections in the legislation would safeguard healthcare workers, providers, and facilities, as well as businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions against unfair lawsuits so they can continue to contribute to a safe and effective economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
