Comments Filed on National Labor Relations Board “Free Choice” Rulemaking
Share:
On February 2nd, the Coalition for Democratic workplace, of which GCCA is a member, along with 13 other employer organizations, filed comments on the NLRB’s proposed rulemaking altering representation election processes. The changes in the NPRM target three provisions – blocking charge rule, voluntary recognition bar, and voluntary recognition in the construction industry. The coalition’s comments demonstrate how the changes would “negatively affect the Board’s representation case jurisprudence, undermine the Agency’s statutory goals and reputation, diminish employee free choice, and upset the balance of countervailing interests.”
CDW’s statement on the comments can be found here.
