FSIS Encourages Industry Testing for Upcoming PHIS Countries
Share:
FSIS is urging the industry to use the Industry Test Environment (ITE) to test application submissions for export to the 21 countries mentioned in a Constituent Update released on February 9, 2024, and for China, as announced on March 22, 2024. The 21 countries will be integrated into PHIS on May 20, 2024, and China on July 1, 2024. Testing instructions for these countries are available on the FSIS websites PHIS Components page under Information for Industry. An electronic identification account with identity verification steps is required for all users accessing PHIS, both in the test and live production environments. User accounts will be disabled if not used for 60 days.
If you are new to PHIS-export, you will need to register with login.gov to initiate, update, or complete the electronic identification account and the PHIS enrollment process. Detailed instructions can be found in the PHIS Industry User Guide.
