GCCA’s Lowell Randel spoke at the US Poultry & Egg Export Council’s (USAPEEC) Winter Meeting in Washington, DC on December 10th. Randel joined GCCF Board Member Bill Duggan to discuss trends in the cold chain including the Move to -15 initiative, recent supply chain disruptions, building cold chain capacity in emerging markets, and joint efforts to improve FSIS policies and procedures. The session provided the opportunity to highlight the importance of the cold chain and how GCCA and USAPEEC are working together to advance shared priorities.
