NLRB Extends Implementation Date for Joint Employer Rule
Share:
The National Labor Relations board announced an extension to the implementation of their new joint employer rule; the implementation has been extended to February 26th 2024. The new standard will only be applied to cases filed after the rule becomes effective. The news comes after GCCA and industry allies recently sent a letter to Congress urging them to pass legislation overturning this proposed rule change. The new policy is also the subject of litigation from industry challenging the validity of the rule. GCCA will continue to work with coalition partners to advance concerns regarding the rule and keep members updated and the legal and Congressional processes move forward.
