During February 2024, GCCF began its Cold Chain Assessment of Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala for the ongoing USDA Food for Progress project there. Alongside GCCA member LixCap and with technical experts Manuel Cabrera-Kabana, Juan Carlos Hencker, and Debbie Corado, GCCF worked with the project staff to assess existing cold chain infrastructure and identify opportunities for interventions along the cold chain. Subsequent to this assessment, GCCF and LixCap will work together to recommend and develop investment opportunities in the region.
