GCCA held its 2024 Cold Chain Policy Forum from June 24-26 in Washington, DC. Members from across the country gathered in our Nation’s Capital to engage with federal agencies and advocate for the cold chain industry with elected officials. Highlighting the event were keynote presentations from Rep. Tracey Mann (R-KS) addressing the Farm Bill and Brenda Gianiny providing election analysis and insights.

Members heard from key agencies including USDA-FSIS, OSHA, EPA, CBP and CISA on emerging policies and programs impacting the cold chain. The Policy Forum also provided the opportunity for members to sit down with over 35 Congressional offices to discuss GCCA’s legislative priorities including the FRIDGE Act and the Food Traceability Enhancement Act.
