Description:

GCCF recently completed a study of the cold chain sector in Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Senegal. The purpose of this study is to assess the design, construction, operations, and maintenance of the cold chain in West Africa and identify skills gaps to be addressed by GCCF through training, consultations, networking events, and other educational programs in the region.

This webinar is part of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded Emerging Markets Program and is presented in collaboration with cold chain technical experts, GCCA Warehouse and Transportation members, and CEBA members. This project focuses on improving cold chain logistics in West Africa to facilitate trade between the United States and Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Senegal, in addition to supporting local production for local consumption, regional exchange, and pan-African trade.
