Description:

GCCF and GCCA member LixCap have studied market opportunities for cold storage investment in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. The investment opportunity identified as having the highest potential for third-party cold chain logistics providers will be presented.

This webinar is part of the Agricultural Trade and Climate Smart Innovations (ATraCSI) project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is presented in collaboration with the Improving Economies for Stronger Communities (IESC), ATraCSI’s main implementer. ATraCSI focuses on implementing international and risk-based Sanitary and Phytosanitary Regulations (SPS) measures as well as measures under the existing World Trade Organization (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreements (TFA). The project also supports the agriculture sector through effective, sustainable, and environmentally friendly use of agricultural resources which focus on the high value horticulture value chains in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Watch this webinar to:

  • Gain insights into the market opportunities for cold chain in the Northern Central American countries of Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
