GCCA Attends the Annual Bryce Harlow Foundation Awards Celebration

On April 19th, members of the GCCA staff attended the annual Bryce Harlow foundation awards ceremony, of which GCCA is an official co-sponsor. Beginning in 1981, the foundation has held a dinner in Bryce Harlow’s honor for his contributions to strengthening government and business relationships throughout his career as a lobbyist. Since then, the dinner and the subsequent foundation in his namesake has been dedicated to mentoring future business lobbyists, and offering networking opportunities to further strengthen productive ties between businesses and government. This year, the foundation honored congresswomen Debbie Dingell, and Jay Timmons, CEO and President of the National Association of Manufacturers. Setting aside the pomp and circumstance of the event, the significance of this dinner was to show the collective dedication leaders of the major industries of the US must strengthen ties with each other, and to further improve business policy.
