Early Arrivers Group Activity

Wednesday 18 March 2020 | 10:00 - 14:00

Rotterdam is the city of Architecture! Visit the most famous icons of Rotterdam in one neat and compact tour. You will be allowed into floors of buildings otherwise off limits. You will visit Rotterdam Central Station and after that you will take the metro to the city center. Next moment you will be zooming under the Erasmusbridge, hair whipping in the wind, in a super swift water taxi! After a 30 minute cruise you can take a break with a nice lunch in the Markthal. Next up, we continue the tour along the medieval Laurenskerk to the Timmerhuis, where you have exclusive access to the rooftop terrace.

Participants should meet in the lobby by 10:00. The tour will conclude back at the Hilton Rotterdam at 14:00.

Cost: €99 and includes lunch and VAT

Delegates will enjoy an evening filled with food, drinks and entertainment at the Welcome Reception and Dinner taking place at the Floating Pavilion. The location is on the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam and this center is a hotspot of culture, innovation, sustainability, festivals and culinary novelties with fantastic views of Rotterdam. The floating pavilion is not only special because of the floating bulbs on the water, but also climate-proof and a catalyst for floating construction in Rotterdam.  Join your colleagues for a fun evening at this unique location! Transportation to and from the Floating Pavilion will be provided from the Hilton Rotterdam Included in conference registration. 

Facility Tour - Boat Tour of the Port of Rotterdam

Discover a buzzy Port of Rotterdam and its various operating industries on the Nieuwe Maze boat. As the Port is recreating and modernizing itself, the visit will highlight former transshipment sites turned into a new hub bolstering pioneering and artisan production companies, creative entrepreneurs and companies in the circular production industry.
