GCCA Signs PPP Coalition Letter to House and Senate Leadership

On November 19, 2020, GCCA joined a coalition of associations in signing a letter to Congressional leadership. The letter urges Congress to address the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) forgiveness process before the end of the year. Relevant legislation regarding PPP forgiveness includes S.4117, The Paycheck Protection Program Small Business Forgiveness Act, sponsored by Senators Cramer, Menendez, Tillis, and Sinema, and H.R.7777, The Paycheck Protection Small Business Forgiveness Act, sponsored by Reps. Houlahan and Upton. Both pieces of legislation would streamline loan forgiveness and expand the hold harmless protections for lenders.
