Lineage Stores, Distributes 1 Million+ Meals for a Nonprofit to Help Feed Those Impacted by Pandemic

Lineage Logistics is working with Open Kitchen MCR to store and distribute 1.1 million frozen food meals that have been at a storage site near Manchester Airport in the UK because of the collapse in air travel during the coronavirus outbreak. The meals will be used by not-for-profit group Open Kitchen MCR. Those benefiting from Open Kitchen’s efforts include the street homeless, people temporarily housed in hotel accommodation, those in self-isolation with underlying health conditions, and people living below the poverty line.
