MTC Logistics Announces Promotion of Andrew B. Janson to President

 

Baltimore, MD – April 1, 2019— MTC Logistics announced today the promotion of Andrew B. Janson to President, effective April 1, 2019. Janson has held the position of COO since joining the company in June 2018.

“I want to extend our congratulations to Andy Janson on his promotion to President. His operational experience, customer centric approach and positive leadership style exemplify the company’s ‘Warm Service, Delivered Cold’ spirit,” said Harry D. Halpert, Chairman of the Board of MTC Logistics. “Secondly, I would like to thank Brooks Royster for his dedication and service to MTC Logistics and his years of service as President. We are thrilled Brooks will remain with MTC Logistics in charge of International Supply Chain Solutions.

Halpert added, “In his time as COO, Andy led the team through “Vision and Values” exercises which will serve the Company well as we open our newest International Distribution Center in Mobile, Alabama, and expand our transportation offerings.” As President, Andy will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Company as it expands its presence to serve its customers’ logistics needs. Janson has served in senior leadership roles throughout his 23 years in the temperature-controlled supply chain industry. “I am very excited and humbled to serve MTC Logistics’ customers, associates and shareholders,” said Janson. “I am fortunate to inherit a solid foundation from Brooks and I look forward to working to advance a culture where every teammate is appreciated and has the opportunity to add value every day.” Janson added, “I look forward to working with Brooks in his new role as Vice President of International Supply Chain Solutions, where he will continue to be a key resource for our new international distribution center coming online in 2020.” MTC Logistics is the 17th largest refrigerated warehousing and logistics provider in North America, operating 3 distribution centers with more than 25,000,000 cubic feet of refrigerated and frozen space, serving the ports of Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Wilmington, DE.
