FSIS Posts Q&A on FSIS Allergen Verification Sampling Program

FSIS has announced that it will begin its allergen verification sampling program on September 1, 2024. The program was originally announced in the July 26, 2024 Constituent Update and is described in FSIS Directive 7,000.6. In response to questions from industry and FSIS personnel, FSIS is posting questions and answers for a few commonly asked questions. These questions and answers can be found here.
