Lowell Randel spoke at the American Soybean Association’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health 2025 Global Food Security dialogue in Guatemala on February 7th. The dialogue, entitled Take Action for Guatemala Food Security, brought together government officials, industry representatives, and NGOs to discuss the connection between global food security and trade.  The event was a great opportunity to promote the ongoing work of the Global Cold Chain Foundation in the region through the ATraCSI project, which focuses on providing training, technical assistance, working groups, and investment/market opportunities support to strengthen the cold chain in the Northern Triangle. Through participation in the event, GCCF was able to strengthen partnerships and highlight the importance of the cold chain to improving food security and reducing food waste in Guatemala and across the globe.
