GCCA Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity

San Antonio Food Bank
Volunteer with us at the San Antonio Food Bank! Texas is ranked 2nd in the nation for food insecurity, with 1 in 6 living in food insecure homes. We will be sorting and packing food to help to support families across 29 different counties in Texas. You can learn more about the communities San Antonio Food Bank serves on their website.
Cost – $30 (cost will cover transportation to and from food bank)
GCCA Pickleball Tournament

Get ready to rally at our first ever GCCA Pickleball Tournament! Attendees will be paired into teams for friendly competition, fun, and a shot at victory. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, it's a great way to connect, compete, and have a blast on the court.

Convention Spouse/Guest Activity: River Barge Tour and Historic Market Square
Wednesday, September 17 | 9:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m | (off property) –meet in the lobby at 9:15am (busses depart at 9:30am)
Start the day with a narrated river barge cruise in brand-new, colorful, electric barges which will take you on an enchanting journey through San Antonio’s rich history. Attendees will learn about unique points of interest and architecture along the Riverwalk. From the river barge, the group will stop at the largest Mexican market in the nation to do some shopping or grab lunch before heading back.
Closing Reception
Wednesday, September 17 | 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Convention is always over too soon! Wipe those tears away and join us to bid farewell to convention attendees at the closing reception. Located conveniently in the ballroom foyer, you will be greeted with cheer as you exit the closing general session.
