The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) is pleased to announce that David Hardiman-Evans, Senior Vice President Global Business Development, Ocado will keynote the European Cold Chain Conference taking place in Barcelona, Spain, 20-22 March 2023. The conference will host over 200 cold chain professionals from throughout Europe and around the world. This year the conference will be held in conjunction with the Strategic Board Meeting for GCCA and its foundation – the Global Cold Chain Foundation.
Hardiman-Evans will be part of the Opening Plenary Session taking place on Tuesday, 21 March 2023. He will provide participants a view of the macroeconomic trends disrupting supply chains and how Ocado uses technology and innovation to transform its business model and meet today’s societal challenges including labour shortage, food waste and sustainability. Matthew R. Ott, President & CEO, GCCA will conduct a question and answer session with Hardiman-Evans giving the audience an opportunity to hear more about Ocado’s approaches to today’s challenges and how they are relevant to anyone involved in the movement of perishable products.
In addition to this session, conference delegates will also hear more about Energy, Sustainability, Training/Talent, Security, Design/Build, Global Cold Chain Growth, Food Loss/Waste, Economic Outlook, and much more through Plenary Sessions, Focus Sessions and the roundtable discussions.

ABOUT HARDIMAN-EVANS
Hardiman-Evans was appointed Senior Vice President, Global Business Development for Ocado Solutions in July 2022. He is responsible for growing and maintaining both current and potential new partner relationships. Hardiman-Evans joined Ocado in January 2012 as Head of IR and Corporate Finance. In September 2017, he was appointed SVP North America for Ocado Solutions, where he led corporate partnership development activities in that region. Prior to Ocado, Hardiman-Evans was an investment banking Managing Director at DC Advisory Partners and Daiwa Capital Markets, advising companies on M&A, financing, strategy, and other corporate finance matters. He is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying with Arthur Andersen as part of its Corporate Restructuring group before moving to Brunswick, the corporate communications consultancy.
