About the GCCA Cold Chain Policy Forum
The Cold Chain Policy Forum is the can’t-miss policy event for businesses engaged in temperature-controlled logistics. This year, the Cold Chain Policy Forum will be a virtual event. The Forum will feature educational sessions focused on rules and regulations that directly impact the industry, presented virtually so that you can join from the comfort of your home or office. You'll hear from agencies such as the EPA, OHSA, and FDA.
Each day, the event will also feature a daily wrap-up where attendees can meet with GCCA staff, leadership and policy experts in a virtual environment.
This virtual event is free to all GCCA members, so send your
- compliance, and
- legal teams
to learn the latest in cold chain rules and regulations.
Over the past few years the Assembly of Committees (AOC) meeting, held in Washington, DC every July, has transitioned into a policy oriented event with education sessions and keynote presentations focused on rules and regulations and their impact on the cold chain. Because of this transition, a number of GCCA’s committees have indicated that they would find more value in assembling during the Cold Chain Conference & Expo instead of at the policy meeting in DC.
The Government Affairs and Safety Committees as well as GCCA committees focused on association governance (executive committees, finance committee, insurance committee, etc.) will still continue to hold their meetings in conjunction with the GCCA Cold Chain Policy Forum in DC (July 27-29, 2020) – see the Schedule for more details.
