Mauritania Cold Chain Development Project

The Mauritania Cold Chain Development Project analyzes the horticultural value chains of Mauritania with the intention of emphasizing the cold chain facilities most able to optimize a viable business operation. Working in collaboration with GCCA member LixCap, GCCF will deliver capacity building solutions to identified stakeholders using training, consultations, resource development and study tours. Capacity building efforts will advance technical solutions, equipment, facility placement recommendations, cold chain logistics solutions, and relevant food safety certifications. The proposed technical solutions will also aim to improve cold storage management practices focused on post-harvest production.
