Postharvest Training in East Africa

In November 2023, GCCF completed a postharvest training project in Kenya and Rwanda that was funded by the United Nations Environmental Programme. This project was completed in collaboration with the Postharvest Education Foundation (PEF), the Africa Center for Excellence and Sustainable Cooling and Cold-Chain (ACES), and the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS). GCCF implemented four trainings in Kenya and one Train the Trainers program in Rwanda delivered through technical workshops and including planning, design, materials preparation and demonstrations, logistics, and reporting.  A total of 90 individuals received training through this project.
