In collaboration with LixCap, GCCF is supporting a strategic review project for a private cold storage company in Cambodia. This initiative builds upon previous feasibility and construction advisory assessments led by GCCF and LixCap in 2019 and 2020, expanding efforts to enhance Cambodia’s cold chain infrastructure. This project consists of a commercial and operational assessment, evaluating market demand, operational efficiency, and investment potential.  GCCF will provide industry expertise, technical evaluations, and investor outreach, leveraging its extensive network to support strategic planning.

In February, GCCF Technical Expert Marc Dizon traveled to the site in Phnom Penh to perform a comprehensive operational assessment, reviewing the project’s infrastructure, equipment, technology, as well as standard operating procedures. Mr. Dizon will formulate recommendations for improvements in the facility’s operations and technology that may be implemented by the project over the next six months.

GCCF is currently recruiting for a local or regional cold chain operations specialist to advise businesses seeking to invest in or grow their cold chain businesses. Ideally this expert would have experience with start-ups and could spent extended time in-country.
